Day 01 :

Nairobi-Samburu

Pick up from Nairobi Airport and enjoy a short safari briefing before driving north, crossing the Equator and taking in the majestic views of Mount Kenya. Journey onward to the open savannah of Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at your Lodge/Camp. After a short rest, set out for an evening game drive. Explore the reserve’s spectacular landscapes, rivers, and forests, and encounter a wealth of wildlife including leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Spot over 365 bird species in this ornithologist’s paradise. Return to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02 :

Samburu

Spend a full day exploring Samburu Game Reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the reserve’s unique resident wildlife, including the elegant Reticulated Giraffe, striking Grevy’s Zebra, rare Beisa Oryx, and the impressive blue-necked Somali Ostrich, species found nowhere else in Kenya. Return to your Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Samburu-Sweet Waters

After an early breakfast and morning game drive, depart for Sweet Waters (Ol Pejeta), arriving in the afternoon just in time for an evening game drive. Enjoy optional adventures such as game viewing, walking safaris, or even night drives. You may also visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Marvel at “The Big Five” – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo – alongside other wildlife like giraffe, zebra, eland, oryx, waterbuck, Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle, cheetah, silver-backed jackal, hartebeest, and baboon, plus hundreds of bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Sweetwaters-Aberdares

After an early breakfast, proceed to Sweet Waters (Ol Pejeta) where you can enjoy optional activities such as game viewing, walking safaris, or even night game drives. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, and marvel at “The Big Five” – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo – along with other wildlife including giraffe, zebra, eland, oryx, waterbuck, Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle, cheetah, silver-backed jackal, hartebeest, baboon, and hundreds of bird species.

Later, depart for the Aberdares, arriving in time for lunch and a moment to relax. In the afternoon, transfer across Aberdares National Park to The Ark, which features four viewing decks, balconies, and lounges for superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. Here, the animals come to you! Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 :

Aberdares-Nairobi

After an early morning breakfast, embark on an enroute game drive as you check out of the park. Begin your journey back to Nairobi, with a lunch stop along the way, arriving in the early evening. Drop off at your hotel or Nairobi Airport.
