Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our team for a brief safari orientation before being transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. On landing at the Mara airstrip, your professional safari guide will welcome you and begin your adventure with an en-route game drive as you head to your selected camp or lodge.
After check-in and lunch, you will set out for an exciting afternoon game drive across the vast Mara plains. The Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned as Kenya’s premier wildlife sanctuary, home to over 450 wildlife species, including both migratory and resident animals. The region’s fertile savannah, framed by the Great Rift Valley, supports one of the densest concentrations of wildlife anywhere in Africa.
Expect to encounter large herds of elephants, prides of lions, buffalo, zebra, topi, and Thomson’s gazelle. With some luck, you may spot the elusive rhino or leopard. The Mara River is another highlight—where hippos wallow in the water and crocodiles can often be seen sunning themselves on the riverbanks. Depending on the season, you may also witness parts of the world-famous Wildebeest Migration.
After the game drive, return to your camp/lodge with the option to visit a Maasai village (optional). Enjoy dinner and overnight at your chosen accommodation.
